Report on the present status of utilization, operation and maintenance of the Tokai-tandem accelerator facility of JAEA of 2017. The accelerator operation was 64 days and the regular maintenance was 159 days. In the regular maintenance that had been continuing since February 2016, high pressure pure water washing and restoration of all acceleration tubes, element exchange of dead section ion pumps, exchange of stripper foils, and reorientation of acceleration tubes were carried out. After conditioning operation in November, we confirmed that the maximum voltage improved to 16.8 MV after conditioning for a total of 12 days, and started operation in December. During the operation in December, the control deficiency of the 180 degree bending magnet was found and the fault repair was performed.
